These Terms of Service govern your use of The Good Press website and web app at goodpress.au. By using the service, you agree to these terms.

The service

The Good Press presents constructive news and allows readers to shape a personal agenda through topic, location, and swipe preferences. The service is provided for general information and personal use.

Accounts

You may browse as a guest or create an account using email and password or Google sign-in. You are responsible for the accuracy of the details you provide and for keeping your account credentials secure. Please contact us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without permission.

News and third-party content

Articles, links, sources, and any public-reaction summaries are provided for discovery and information. They may be incomplete, change over time, or link to third-party websites. The Good Press does not endorse every source or guarantee that every item is accurate, current, or suitable for your circumstances. Do not rely on the service as professional, legal, financial, medical, or emergency advice.

Acceptable use

You must not misuse the service, attempt to bypass its security, interfere with its operation, scrape it at scale without permission, use another person’s account, or use the service in a way that is unlawful or harmful to others.

Our content and branding

The Good Press name, design, and original app materials are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. Third-party articles, images, trademarks, and links remain the property of their respective owners. You may use the service for personal reading, but may not reproduce or commercially exploit its materials except where permitted by law or the relevant rights holder.

Subscriptions and billing

Unlimited access is offered as a recurring monthly subscription at the price shown at checkout. Payments, renewals, and cancellation are handled by Stripe. Your plan renews automatically unless you cancel it through the Stripe billing experience before the next billing date. Any applicable refund or billing terms shown by Stripe at checkout also apply.

Availability and changes

We may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service, including features or content, at any time. We do not promise uninterrupted availability. We may suspend or terminate access where reasonably necessary to protect the service, users, or legal rights.

Liability

To the extent permitted by law, The Good Press is provided “as is” and we exclude warranties not expressly set out in these terms. Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts, or modifies rights that cannot lawfully be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the minimum extent permitted by law.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Western Australia and the applicable laws of Australia. Any dispute will be subject to the courts of Western Australia and their appeal courts, except where consumer law provides otherwise.

We may update these terms from time to time. The current version and effective date will always be available on this page. Continuing to use the service after an update means you accept the updated terms.
